Horsehead Nebula in Blue presents a personal interpretation of a recurring subject in Pilar Gógar's work. The familiar silhouette is transformed through a predominantly blue palette, with pale highlights defining its contours against the surrounding darkness. Layered clouds and luminous stars create a sense of depth, making the central formation appear to project beyond the surface. The Horsehead Nebula was one of the first astronomical subjects explored by the artist, and this version revisits it through a cooler and more sculptural treatment.
